Terms & Conditions​

The following terms and conditions apply to purchases of Black Opal Arcade Pty Ltd ABN 37 140 025 350.

Owner of the lease

The person whose name is written on the certificate is the owner of a 25-year lease of square foot of an Opal Claim (or whatever size of measure is selected upon purchase). There can only be one (1) lease holder and it is not permitted to change the name of the owner of the certificate.

Purchasing on behalf of another person

The lease may be purchased on behalf of another person however, the person whose name is on the certificate is the legitimate lease-owner and cannot be transferred. You will need to complete the Certificate of Lease Holder details when ordering.

Lease period

The lease period is for 25-years from the date the Certificate of Lease Ownership is signed. The lease will not be renewed after this time.

Location of lease

The location of the claim is dependent upon the field chosen at purchase and will be written on the certificate

Allocation of lease

The location of the lease is randomly selected by Black Opal Arcade and allocated to the person whose name is on The Certificate. The location of the plot will be detailed on The Certificate. There may be some slight variability of the plot allocation due to unforeseen issues.

Changes to lease

If the Department Of Primary Industries change the mining laws or cancel any of the mining fields which include your lease, and even if Black Opal Arcade has no power to prevent it, Black Opal Arcade is obliged to replace it with a new lease.

Damaged or destroyed Certificates

If the Certificate is damaged or destroyed, Black Opal Arcade can arrange new documentation for a small fee, provided that the Leaseholder provides identification.

Drilling your lease (excluding VIP Opal Mining Experience)

Drilling on your lease is at the discretion of the Mining Manager and subject to safety terms and conditions. The cost associated with drilling your leased claim will be quote to you in Australian dollars agreed by you prior to drilling. Payment options
All orders are prepaid. When ordering, your credit card or Paypal account is charged when you place your order. All orders are in specified in either Australian dollars or United States of American Dollars. We accept Paypal, Visa and Mastercard cards only. Please note that we do not store your credit card number on our servers. If the card payment is declined by your issuer for any reason, we cannot hold goods against your order.

Confirmation of your order

You will receive an email from us confirming your order. If you do not receive confirmation within 24 hours, please email contact@blackopalarcade.com

Returns and exchanges

If, for any reason, you are unhappy with any or all of the goods received, you can return any of them to for an exchange or refund, providing return is effected within 30 working days from the day after you receive the goods. You are responsible for the cost of returning goods for refund or exchange, except in cases of faulty, damaged or wrongly supplied goods.

Postage & Handling
All prices include postage and handling fees through Australia Post’s Registered Mail. All deliveries must be signed for. Delivery timeframes are outlined below and are dependent on where your order is being sent. For information about your order, please email contact@blackopalarcade.com

For delivery within Australia

In normal circumstances, deliveries within Australia should reach you within 5-7 business days. We shall deliver your order to the delivery address you supply when you order.

For delivery outside of Australia

In normal circumstances, deliveries outside of Australia should reach you within 10-15 business days. We shall deliver your order to the delivery address you supply when you order.

Damaged goods

If goods are damaged upon delivery, please take a photo of the damaged goods and send via email to contact@blackopalarcade.com. We recommend that you use registered post or recorded delivery when returning goods. We shall use reasonable efforts to replace damaged or defective goods but if replacement is not possible, our only obligation is to refund the full amount paid by you.
